THE LIP PRODUCT ADDICT TAG

Monday, 19 May 2014

I'm pretty sure you all know about this tag created by Estée and Amelia. Love a good lipstick tag so I thought I'd do this lovely tag.

1. Favourite Balm/Treatment.

Nuxe Reve de Miel  is an amazing lip balm, extremely moisturising with a matte formula and a thick consistency. I do also love the Korres Lip butters. They're also very hydrating and they have a lovely range of different scents and colours.

2. Best Eye-Caching Red.

I chose these two, Chanel Rouge Allure in Pirate which is my old time favourite red and this Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 03 Stawberry Kissed. This is a matte bright pinky red, highly pigmented and long lasting. It feels nice on the lips and it's comfortable to wear.

3. Best Luxury and Best Drustore.

I really love Nars Lipsticks, their formula is very moisturising and long lasting. This colour is Dolce Vita, my old time favourite nude colour.
Recently I discovered these Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm in the colour Showy and totally obsessed with it.

4. Best MAC Lipstick.

Oh this one was hard to choose! I couldn't decide between these two. Milan Mode and Chatterbox are my favourites!

5. The Most Disappointing.

These Kiko Lipsticks are not creamy at all and tend to dry out easily. The colours are beautiful but the formula is not good.

6. Liner, Yes or No?

Not a fan of a liner. I got this Too Faced Perfect Lips Liner a while ago in a nude colour for define and prime the lips but I don't really like it. The formula is not creamy at all and I found it does nothing on my lips.

7. Best Gloss.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is a fantastic product! This is a lip balm and a lip gloss, the formula is creamy and moisturising but not sticky at all. This colour is no.02 Apricot Shimmer.
I fell in love with this Tanya Burr lip gloss in Picnic in the Park since the minute zero, the colour and the formula are fantastic!

8. Something Extra.

The Dior Glow Lip Balm is probably my favourite lip product of all time. It's really moisturising and keep the lips well hydrated for long, plus it gives the most perfect pink colour to your lips.

Hope you liked it. Let me know if you also did this tag, I'd love to see your post! :)

Have a lovely day!

xx

BEAUTY EMPTIES #3

Thursday, 15 May 2014

It is time for another empties post.  Let's get started!

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser. It does leave the skin smooth and well hydrated. It is very easy and comfortable to use which make it great specially for those busy mornings.

Macadamia called Rejuvenating Shampoo. It is shampoo which is also sulphates and parabens free. However I must say my hair does not last clean for long when I use it. It smells divine though.

Nature’s Body Cream with Amber extract and Shea butter. It a very moisturing body cream. It is organic and it has a amber and lovely scent.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution Micellaire is the Queen of micellar waters! My skin has changed in a very positive way since I've discovered this water. Brilliant!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Anti-Blemish  is a skin saviour! Fantastic product which help you to dry out all those ugly blemishes. It was one of my favourites products of 2013.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir, a multi purpose product which you can use as a toner, to set your make up, etc..  This mist contains essential oils and feels cooling and fresh on the skin leaving your skin hydrated. Lots of celebrities love this product.

Palmer’s Cocoa Body Scrub. Smells incredible, like a chocolate cake! It is very gentle on the skin, which is something essential for me when it comes to exfoliation. Perfect for sensitive skin.

The Emu Oil Well eye cream. This is a great bio eye treatment for a low price.

Kiko Nail Polish Remover Fast & Easy this is a very good nail polish remover, so easy and fast to use, exactly as the name says.

Have you tried any of these products?

Have a nice day everyone!

CLASSIC RED NAIL POLISH

Friday, 9 May 2014

I got a new red polish favourite: Fifth Avenue from Essie. I just can't believe I didn't get this before. The colour is super gorgeous and this makes your manicure looks classy, polished and so beautiful!

The colour is bright and bold, a true classic red, with a slightly yellow tone but really flattering even on fair complexions. I personally love Essie's nail polishes, the formula is amazing and the consistency of this is opaque and rich that it goes on really well and looks great just with one coat. This is one of Essie's must have!
This probably will be my got-to red for summertime!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
