5 Blushes for Autumn

Tuesday, 21 October 2014

Neutral colors, dusty pinks, plums, burgundy,...I adore this time of the year and all the autumnal shades. Here there is a list with some of my favourites blushes for this season.

The Neutrals
Nars Douceur is a dusty rose brown colour that looks so natural and beautiful on the skin. This blush colour compliments any lipstick and it's perfect for those days you want a neutral colour on your cheeks. This is also great for contouring, it gives you beautiful instant cheekbones.

Inglot Freedom System Blush #55 is another dusty pink-brown color, very similar to Nars Douceur but the Inglot blush is more rosy. The quality of Inglot Blushes are fantastic, they're really pigmented and the texture is soft, velvety and blendable.

The Shocking
MAC Fever is a matte red wine colour. This is really pigmented and looks super intimidating in the pan, but if applied lightly it is just gorgeous. It gives this beautiful 'just got out from snow' look.

The Shimmery
MAC Warm Soul is a peachy brown shade with some mauve in it and golden sheen. It enhances the cheekbones, gives warmth and a lovely subtle glow to the complexion. This is one of those blushes that looks beautiful on most skin tones.

Elf Studio Blush Berry Merry is a mauve-plum coloured blush with lots of golden shimmer. It looks natural on the cheeks and gives a subtle glow. I find the texture slightly chalky. This is supposed to be a dupe of Nars Sin.

What are your favourite blushes for the colder months?
