beauty favouries, ysl balm bronzer, clinique robust rhubarb, burberry contour pen, clinique cc cream

This month I've been loving.. a lovely and natural creamy bronzer, two makeup products from Clinique, one of the best products I have tried for contouring and the best sunscreen ever!

YSL HEALTHY GLOW BALM-POWDER BRONZER | link
I love this product! It's the most natural bronzer I have ever tried. The texture balm-powder of this is amazing, blends beautifully and seamlessly then dries to a natural matte finish but still gives a subtle radiant glow to the face. I've got the shade #3 Epice which is the most neutral  colour of the range and the safest choice, the other colours are quite orangy.
CLINIQUE 'ROBUST RHUBARB' CHUBBY STICK CHEEK COLOUR BALM  link
This creamy blush in stick gives a lovely flush of colour on the cheeks. It applies and blends easily with fingers. I love this shade, Robust Rhubarb, is such a pretty coral colour.
BURBERRY FACE CONTOUR PEN  | link
I love the packaging of this, a thin stick, quick to use and compact enough to throw in my purse. The product itself is so soft, creamy and so easy to use. It glides on so smoothly and blends so well. I usually swipe it on on the hollows of the cheeks, sides of the nose and under the jawline and blend out with my finger. It seriously blends out so effortlessly and seamlessly to a silky, matte finish. It's available in two shades, I bought the shade Medium which looks quite scary in the tube but it's very natural when applied even in the daytime.
CLINIQUE CC CREAM SPF30 | link
I'm really enjoying using this also from Clinique! It has pretty good coverage for a CC Cream. It’s moisturising and gives you a healthy glowy finish. The finish is rather dewy but natural, without looking greasy. It does not feel heavy on the skin and it lasts pretty well on the skin although if you have very oily skin this may not work for you as it can get too oily a couple of hours after applying.
LA ROCHE POSAY ANTHELIOS SPF50 DRY TOUCH CREAM  | link
I cannot recommend this enough, especially for oily and combination skin types. Absolutely amazing sunscreen. It's not sticky or greasy at all and is great for wearing under make up. It makes a great primer for foundation. It leaves the skin shine free and without white marks.

Kim Kardashian recently revealed her skincare routine on Snapchat, showing some of her favourite products.  I was so surprised when she revealed that the first step in her beauty routine was a 5.90 euro skincare product.  When I saw her spapping about this Kiko product I went to pick up one pack immediately! I knew I needed to try it ASAP.
If it's good enough for Ms Kim K...

KIKO PURE CLEAN SCRUB & PEEL WIPES | link
I'd never tried exfoliating wipes before so I was very intrigued. These are 2 in 1 wipes, the textured side exfoliates the skin and the other provides comfort and freshness. Be sure to use both sides!
They work great. The exfoliate part is really scrubby, it gives a proper scrub (be careful if you have sensitive skin) and the other side gives a lovely fresh sensation and leaves the skin glowing and soft. The skin literally glows in an instant. They do a really good job exfoliating, it slightly removes dead skin, the skin feels soft and smooth afterwards.

The texture of the wipe was a little rough, it definitely does exfoliate so make sure you don't use around the eyes. They are quite strong and my skin was a bit red afterwards. But after a few minutes it felt so soft and amazing. It brightened my complexion and left my whole face silky smooth.
If you have extremely sensitive skin maybe these aren't for you, they can irritate the skin. Also, you shouldn't use them more than twice a week.

Overall I like these, they made my skin feel extremely soft, radiant and healthy. I've been enjoying using these, they're quite addictive!

Kim K's favourite face wipes are good and cheap and you need to pick up asap!

Have your tried this? Are you going to pick this one up?

Latest Beauty Haul | Drugstore & High End

Sunday, 26 June 2016

beauty haul, makeup haul, drugstore and high end
beauty haul, makeup haul, drugstore and high end
Oh I love a good beauty haul...There have been a few new things added to my makeup collection.
I picked up a few things at the drugstore and some high-end beauty products thinking on my wedding. Here's what I bought:

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation  | I have been doing a exhaustive research on best foundations for wedding day and so many people recommend the Armani Luminous Silk! Apparently has a great coverage, is super long lasting and doesn't have SPF, perfect for photos. It's pricey let's hope it's worth it!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer  |  I finally got my hands on this after seeing so many people rave about it! Have you tried this concealer? What are your thoughts?  I have to say that if you're looking for a super pale concealer, the shade Fair Neutral is the one for you!
Benefit Hoola Bronzer (travel size mini)  |  I always wanted to try this so I was so excited when Benefit released the mini travel size Hoola bronzer. Why can't all brands do this? The little box is so cute, perfect for traveling or just to have in your handbag.
YSL Healthy Glow Balm-Powder Bronzer |  I'm loving this product! I was a bit skeptical at the beginning because all the colours seemed to be very warm with orange-reddy undertones. I ended up buying the shade 3 Epice which seems the most neutral of the range and the safest choice. The texture balm-powder of this is amazing, blends beautifully and seamlessly then dries to a natural matte finish but still gives a subtle radiant glow to the face.
Clinique ' Robust Rhubarb' Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm |  This creamy blush in stick gives a lovely flush of colour on the cheeks.. It applies and blends easily with fingers. I love this shade, Robust Rhubarb, is such a pretty coral, lovely for this time of the year.
Rimmel Volume Colorist Mascara |  I got this new mascara from Rimmel which is supposed to tint your lashes over time. It's not a bad mascara at all. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it makes them appear longer and thicker without clumping. It's true it makes your lashes super black when you apply but other than that, I have not experienced any difference in my lashes.
Kiko Scrub&Peel Wipes  | Yes, I saw Kim K's Snapchat, so I went and I picked up a pack immediately! These exfoliating face wipes sound really interesting and well, if it's good enough for Kim K...
Garnier Miracle Cream  | I love this stuff and I needed to repurchase it! This tinted cream has a light texture, it's easy to apply and blend onto the skin living a natural look with a lovely healthy glow. It instantly gives a flawless skin tone, reducing the appearance of the pores and fine lines.  A big plus for the SPF20!
La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF50+ Dry Touch | Another repurchase for the summer. This is best sunscreen I have ever tried.  It's not sticky or greasy at all and is great for wearing under make up.  It makes a great primer for foundation. It leaves the skin shine free and without white marks.

Light Bases for Summer | Lightweight foundations

Sunday, 19 June 2016
light bases for summer, best foundations for summer
light bases for summer, best foundations for summer

When the weather gets warmer I like to switch up my base products to lighter products. I love using foundations that feel light on my skin. I'm a big fan of the BB/CC creams, they adress skin tone, helps to correct redness, uneven skin and pigmentation and it also contains a very high SPF to protect your skin from sun damage which is perfect for summer.
These are my favourite lightweight bases for summer. All of these are lightweight, breathable and give a beautiful, radiant finish.

CLINIQUE CC CREAM SPF30 | link
I really like this one and it's my favourite of the collection, in my opinion it's better than Chanel CC Cream! This is probably best for those with dry to normal skin.
CHANEL CC CREAM  SPF30/50 | link
It provides a good coverage and a nice, luminous finish to the skin. It's a very good product but is not my favourite since this has a very yellow undertone, which sadly does not work well with my skin tone. Also I find it never sits on my skin right and makes me feel a bit oily.
DIOR BB CREME SPF 10 | link
It's another of my favourites and I use this one all year round. This feels light and gives a good glow to the skin. It stays on pretty well, it doesn't fade throughout the day.
BARE MINERALS COMPLEXION RESCUE SPF30 | link
It's very light coverage but will even out your skin tone and add a healthy glow. It feels fresh, breathable and the finish is luminous and dewy. I think it's a great option if you have dry skin since this is super hydrating on the skin.
LAURA MERCIER TINTED MOISTURISER ILLUMINATING SPF20 | link
I love using this for days where I don't want to wear full makeup. It's lightweight, glides on smooth providing light coverage that evens out the skin tone. It gives such a fresh look to your skin. It can be used as a highlighter under foundation for that soft sheen, glow that looks like it comes from within.

Have you tried nay of these?

My new favourite light base! It does a great job correcting the redness of my face. It's moisturising, it has a pretty good coverage, but it does not feel heavy on the skin.  It has a super creamy consistency, is very pigmented and covers dark circles perfectly. It goes smooth and brightens under eye so well!
3 | YSL Healthy Glow Balm-Powder Bronzer
I'm not a big fan of cream bronzers but there was something about this that caught my attention and I have to say I love this product! It's the most natural bronzer I have ever tried. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning because all the colours seemed to be very warm with orange-reddy undertones, but the shade 3 Epice seems the most neutral of the range and the safest choice. The texture balm-powder of this is amazing, blends beautifully and seamlessly then dries to a natural matte finish but still gives a subtle radiant glow to the face

It's a pinky-peach chamagne colour, exactly the kind of colour I love wearing on a day to day basis. It's creamy. pigmented, it goes on smoothly  and stays on well  I love how quick it is to apply. It takes about 10 seconds to do my eyeshadow wit this.
6 | MAC 'Powersurge' EyeKhol
It's such a pretty gold shade. It's a lovely warm, shimmery antique gold colour that looks so beautiful on the eyes.
7 | Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara
I've been using this new mascara from Rimmel for the past weeks which supposed to tint your lashes over time. It's not a bad mascara at all. It makes them appear longer and thicker without clumping. It's true it makes your lashes super black when you apply but other than that, I have not experienced any difference in my lashes :(

Favourite Low-cost Lipsticks | Try-on swatches

Sunday, 12 June 2016

These are seven lipsticks that I absolutely love having in my makeup collection. You can really find high quality lipstick at the drugstore. All of these have amazing formulas, they're pigmented and lovely to wear.
Let me know which are you favourite drugstore lipsticks.

In no specific order, here are my top seven lipsticks from the drugstore or low-cost.

REVLON MATTE LIP BALM 'SHOWY' | link
This isn't a colour I usually go for but there's something about it that I love. I love wearing it in Spring/Summer.  It's a blue based pink, is super bright and it's completely matte but it's super confortable to wear and doesn't dry out my lips.

NYX 'STOCKHOLM' SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM |  link
The formula of this is so creamy, smooth and opaque, they stay on for ages and they don't dry out your lips at all. The shade 'Stockholm' is a warm nude with peachy undertones. This is really pigmented and it has a silky matte finish.

L'OREAL 'EROTIQUE' MATTE LIPSTICK | link
This lipstick is so gorgeous! It's the perfect darker nude colour, a lovely dusky pink and it's matte. The formula is creamy and pigmented and glides on like a balm.

KIKO GLOSSY SHEER LIPSTICK #202 ROSE | link
The whole shade range is amazing.but I love this particular shade which is a natural pinky colour. It applies really easy on the lips. The only downside, it contains big glitter particles that are quite difficult to remove after, take a while to come off.

MAYBELLINE 'CARAMEL INFUSED' COLOR ELIXIR | link
It's lovely natural pink with brown undertones. This is something between a lipstick, lip gloss and lip balm, but it really feels amazing on the lips. It has a creamy texture, it's hydrating and leaves a glossy finish on the lips with fades nicely over time.

REVLON 'RASPBERRY PIE' LIP BUTTER | link
I like the consistency of these lip butters, they are somewhere in between a lipbalm and a lipstick, and also they do stain the lips a little bit. They leave a lovely glossy look to the lips are very easy to appy, no effort needed. This colour is a medium raspberry pink, very pigmented.

SEPHORA CREAM LIP STAIN #13 | link
This has to be one of my favourite lipsticks in my collection and one that I would repurchase over and over again. This is a lovely mauve pink-brown lip cream, very flattering and so easy to wear. It has have a silky texture and is super opaque with only one coat. The Sephora liquid lipsticks are seriously amazing, they're highly pigmented, long lasting and non-drying.
