DECEMBER TOP FIVE
__

This last month of the year I've been loving...

PIXI GLOW TONIC | link
december favourites, pixi glow tonic review, hourglass palette review, becca rose quartzMy new skincare favourite. I'm so impressed with this! This toner with glycolic acid has made my skin much more smoother and clearer. I have acne prone skin and this does not make my skin break out. It's  really gentle and leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed and my complexion looks brighter. I can't recommend this enough. Absolutely worth the hype.
HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTNING EDIT SURREAL LIGHT | link
This palette is so aesthetically pleasing and such a good quality too. The colours are just gorgeous.  I've been wanting to try Hourglass products for a while and this was perfect to sample a variety of their powders. It contains two blushes, one bronzer, one highlighter and one finishing powder and it provides the most beautiful and naturally radiant finish. All the shades are beautiful and wearable and the size isn't too big which makes it travel-friendly too.
BENEFIT BRONZING & CONTOURING BRUSH link
I am in love with this brush! Not only it's super cute with the gold bamboo handle, it's so soft and such a good brush. It's multitasking too. I use it for powder, bronzer and blush. It's great for blending products, especially if you like a sheer to light coverage because it gives a seamless application.
BECCA ROSE QUARTZ SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR
I've been totally OBSESSED with this highlighter! The packaging is so beautiful and the colour is just perfection. It's a soft pink highlighter with warm undertones. The texture is so dreamy, soft and smooth. Becca can do no wrong when it comes to highlighters.

DIOR ADDICT MILKY TINT 'MILKY PLUM'
I really like the colour and texture of this. The lovely plumy colour is perfection, it's not sticky and leaves the lips looking glossy and plump. However this doesn't last for long on the lips and I need to keep reapplying.

 CHRISTMAS GLOW
__

For me Christmas makeup look is all about glowing face.
My skin gets so dull this time of the year that I need a bit of help to get that lovely glowy look.
I've rounded up my favourite products that will help you to get a healthy glowy look on this day.
Here's my essentials for bright and glowing skin.

The best highlighters
BECCA AFTER GLOW PALETTE
This is such a beautiful and versatile palette. It's small and compact which makes it perfect to carry around. The colour selection is just perfection! The palette contains three highlighters, one blush/bronzer and one blush. The shades can be used as eye shadows too. The quality is amazing, it's pigmented and the glow and shimmer in these are stunning.

BECCA ROSE QUARTZ SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR
Becca highlighters are insanely popular and for a good reason. This is my favourite!  It's a soft pink highlighter with warm undertones. The texture is so dreamy, soft and smooth. Becca can do no wrong when it comes to highlighters. I'll be wearing this on Christmas Eve!

MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH SOFT&GENTLE
This is by far the most perfect champagne-toned highlighter I've ever tried! It's so beautiful! It's also quite intense and a bit glittery, perfect for Christmas parties.

The liquid highlighters
NARS COPACABANA ILLUMINATOR
It's a pale pink colour and is extremely pigmented. It can be placed on the high points of the face, or neck and decollete for some dimension, or can be also mixed with your foundation.
MAC STROBE CREAM
I use it under my foundation and it gives the most gorgeous dewy glow, it definitely brightens up dull skin beautifully. It also provides hydration and it lasts all day long.

The natural highlighters
RMS LIVING LUMINIZER & RMS MASTER MIXER
These are made with natural and lovely ingredients like coconut oil and they give a
subtle but beautiful highlight on the cheekbones, a lovely sheer glow that it looks like coming from within. Living Luminizer is a beautiful soft gold colour and Master Mixer is a soft rose gold bronzy shade. They both look so gorgeous and fresh on the skin.  It can also be used everywhere, cheekbones, collarbones, eyelids and inner corners of the eye. If you like natural highlighters these are for you!

The palette

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTNING EDIT SURREAL LIGHT
This palette contains two blushes, one bronzer, one highlighter and one finishing powder and it provides the most beautiful and naturally radiant finish. All the shades are beautiful and wearable and the size isn't too big which makes it travel-friendly too.

The setting spray
MAC PREP + PRIME FIX +
This is an excellent setting mist. It gives you a really nice dewy glow. Makeup stays radiant and keeps everything in place all day long.

CHRISTMAS MAKEUP BAG
__

Here's the content of my makeup bag  at the moment,
ready for the Christmas holidays

One Base Product
This time I'm bringing the Armani Luminous Silk cause I just love it so much. It has great coverage, it's super long lasting, it gives a glowy, natural finish and photographs beautifully. Perfect for the holiday season!

Powder
I would normally pack a compact powder but I'm too obsessed with the Laura Mercier Loosing Setting PowderIt feels nice on the skin, lightweight and brightens the skin. Great setting powder for the whole face and perfect for baking those under eyes, it really does brighten up my tired eyes.

Two Eyebrow product
Anastasia Brow Definer;  it's precise and super quick to use. It's great for when you are in a hurry, you can fill in the brow much quicker with this and makes the process so much easier. And Benefit Gimme Brow which gives my eyebrows a bit of volume and lasts all day long.

Two concealers
Benefit Erase Paste is my favourite for covering really dark circles. It goes on so creamy, lasts throughout the day and it covers up dark circles so well. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is seriously the best concealer! It has a pretty good coverage and works perfectly for dark circles and blemishes.

Two eyeshadows
Urban Decay Riff single eyeshadow.  It's a warm orangey-brow colour with a hint of gold sparkle that looks great on the crease and alone all over the lid. I love it cause I can wear it alone and works perfectly on its own. And Bobbi Brown Rose Gold, which is so beautiful and pigmented. It goes on easily and it gives a lovely wash of shimmer without being glittery.

One eye pencil
Urban Decay Roach is my go-to eyeliner at the moment, a lovely bronzy brown with a subtle metallic sheen.

One Bronzer
I've using the Benefit Hoola a lot lately. I love it because it a good all-rounder and the perfect balance of bronze, not too orange or too muddy. It's matte but gives a natural sun kissed look and it works well on all skin types. Plus the little box is so cute and perfect for traveling.

One Blush
Benefit Rockateur. It gives a natural warm pink flush and a lovely warm and healthy glow. I have been wearing it nearly daily since I purchased it. It adds such a natural glow and subtle sheen to the look.

One Highlighter
I'm obsessed with the Becca Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector!  It's a soft pink shade with warm undertones. OMG is so pretty!

Lash Curlers
Love my Kevin Aucoin curlers. These eyelash curlers curl the lashes gently and opens up the eyes.

One Mascara
One of my favourite mascaras of all time, Benefit They're Real

Several Lip Products...A girl needs to have some options
Everyday lip: Dior Addict Milky Tint in Milky Plumit's not sticky and leaves the lips looking glossy and plump.
The bold lip: ABH Liquid Lipstick in Dusty RoseIt's so pigmented, matte and it's so comfortable on the lips, so lightweight.
The nude lip: Guerlain La Petite Robe Lipstick in Beige Lingerie. It's hydrating and so comfortable to wear. It's a beautiful soft pink-nude colour that gives a lovely shine to the lips.
