So here it is a makeup haul that ended up costing a small fortune. I blame the stores that have been doing amazing offers lately and you simple cannot resist, plus the last month and half has been very stressful so I needed to treat myself...

Let's start with Sephora, my happiest place on earth...

DIOR FOREVER GLOW FOUNDATION. I was dying for trying this foundation and add it to my Dior collection. I was a fan of the original Forever foundation but somehow the new matte formula didn't like so much but this glowy version I like more.
DIOR BACKSTAGE GLOW FACE PALETTE. I'm really enjoying this palette at the moment. The colours are super beautiful and it's so versatile.
NATASHA DENONA MINI NUDE PALETTE. It's so tiny but very travel friendly. The colour selection is perfection! The palette is gorgeous and very affordable for being Natasha Denona.

Mac; repurchases and I've finally completed my Mac palette!

MAC PRO LONG WEAR CONCEALER. One of the best high coverage concealers, it's perfect for concealing blemishes and for the under eye area. Plus it's long lasting and works perfectly on summer and on high humidity climate.

MAC WOODWINKED SINGLE EYESHADOW. If I had to chose only one eyeshadow for the rest of my life this would be it. I've been using this for 7 years and still love it so much!
MAC FIX+ PINKLITE. I got this to use it as setting spray. It contains pink shimmer that gives a lovely dewy finish. The shimmer is very subtle which I love.
MAC REFILL EYESHADOWS. Last month I bought the shades: Nylon, Sable and Brown Script and with those I finally completed my Mac eyeshadow palette! I'm so proud! A blog post about the palette coming up.

Kiko Cosmetics just has the best offers; buy 2 get 4 at the moment!

KIKO LIP VOLUME. Basically a pinky gloss with a subtle plumping effect.

KIKO HIGHLIGHTING EFFECT FLUID CONCEALER.  I like this especially for under the eyes. This gave me quite a good coverage better than I was expecting.
KIKO LONG LASTING STICK EYESHADOW SHADE VINTAGE ROSE.  I love how these are quick and easy to use and they last well on the lids. This is one of the newest shades, it's the shade 47 a gorgeous rose gold colour.
KIKO GLITTER SHOWER EYESHADOW. I still have to play with this more but wow these are so pigmented! I got the shade Gold Baroque, a true gold colour.
KIKO FALSE LASHES CONCENTRATE. This volume top coat used to be one of my favourite products from the brand but for some reason I stopped using it. I'm happy I gave this another try because its amazing. It gives a lot of volume to the lashes! Give this a try when you find it in offer.

A mix of drugstore and items I got while I was in Spain...

REAL TECHNIQUES SETTING BRUSH. One of the best brushes out there! Multitasking and precise. I needed to update the one I already have, and get a new one and for some reason in Spain was so much cheaper that in Italy.

REAL TECHNIQUES INSTAPOP CHEEK BRUSH. This is a new to me but so far so good. It applies the perfect amount of product in a gentle and precise way.
ESSENCE BUFFER BRUSH. I'm not sure about this brush, got it for free and haven't tried yet.
ESSENCE HD HYDRA PRIMER SPRAY. I've heard this was a good dupe of the Too Faced Hangover spray which I love. But it isn't the same! It's quite enjoyable to use but it's not as hydrating as the Too Faced plus I hate the scent of this so much!
ESSENCE I LOVE INTENSIFYING EYESHADOW BASE. I wanted to like this but didn't find to be effective on me. It didn't make my eyeshadow last, after 3 hours everything disappeared.
BEAUTY FORMULAS GEL EYE PATCHES. Really cheap eye mask enriched with collagen that honestly don't do much.
NYX GLITTER PRIMER. This eyeshadow base I liked! The glitter stays on for a really long time.
L'OREAL INFALLIBLE MORE THAN A CONCEALER. This has a pretty good coverage and its super creamy. A lot of people raved about it but for me this is a bit drying and it creases so much on my eye area.
VDL LUMILAYER PRIMER. I've heard so many good things about this k-beauty primer I needed to pick it up. I'm enjoying it so far. It's hydrating but feels light on the skin. It gives this beautiful iridescent glow that makes the skin glow from within. It gives a healthy look all day long.

Have you tried any of things? I'd love to know your thoughts :)

I'm obsessed with K-beauty! I got to develop a big love for these products in the past few years especially since living in Asia where I have a better access to all the Korean brands. I've been trying a good variety of products so it was time to do a roundup of the products I've been using and loving
10 favourite K-beauty products you NEED to try.

#1 INNISFREE GREEN TEA SEED SERUM

I love Innisfree as a brand, may be my favourite K-beauty brand! Innisfree skincare products are affordable and they cater to different skin concerns. This hydrating serum with green tea seeds deeply moisturizes the skin but is super lightweight, it absorbs quickly leaving the skin glowy and smooth. My skin loves this!

#2 INNISFREE JEJU ORCHID CREAMS

Innisfree Orchid moisturizers are anti-aging with Orchid Elixir and are available in different textures. I've been using the gel cream with a gel-consistency. This helps keep my skin moisturised all day, and leaves my skin feeling soft and plumped up. I also love the eye cream from the same line, it's moisturising and target the fine lines around the eye.

#3 LANEIGE WATER SLEEPING MASK

I'm a fan of overnight sleeping masks, they're life changing. I looove this Laneige one, this is holy grail. You apply it before going to bed and in the morning  you wash it off with your usual cleansing routine to reveal soft, glowy skin. When I wake up in the morning my face is extremely hydrated and plump. I've repurchased this at least 3 times already.

#4 LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK

This is another lip treatment that you apply at night and you'll wake up with a super moisturised lips, it's amazing! Another great Laneige product you should try. I've been using this religiously for two years every night!

#5 BANILA CO CLEAN IT ZERO

Amazing makeup remover balm that effectively removes all  make-up and waterproof mascara without my eyes burning, leaving the skin feeling moisturized and fresh. One of the best makeup remover balms, better than the Clinique one in my opinion and very affordable.

#6 ETUDE HOUSE TONERS

THE WONDER PORE FRESHER. I'm on my second bottle of this I think it does the job really well. It refines pores, minimises their appearancebalances skin PH level, it removes dead skin cells, and cleanses the pores deeply. I love the fact it doesn't give a drying effect on the skin, it feels refreshing and does not make my face feel tight at all.
MOISTFUL COLLAGEN FACIAL TONER. This has a runny gel-consistency that absorbs immediately in the skin. It moisturizes the skin and I've noticed a plumping effect after using this.

#7 ETUDE HOUSE SUNPRISE MILD AIRY FINISH SUN MILK

The best sunscreen for daily use. It has a milky texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, it's very lightweight and works perfectly under makeup. If you really hate the white cast and the sticky effect of most SPF, you need to try this!

#8 INNISFREE SHEETS MASKS

These masks are great quality and they're so cheap! The masks are dripping wet with serum and feel so good and cooling on the skin. They leave my skin so hydrated, make my skin so soft and plump afterwards.

#9 PERIPERA INK VELVET

These are really velvety and soft on the lips, it's like wearing nothing. They're pigmented and after the product is gone the tint lasts a while.

#10 MISSHA PERFECT COVER BB CREAM SPF42

Makeup staple for so many. It adapts to the skin leaving a 'fresh face' look. This product is both lightweight and long lasting. It's moisturizing, helps minimize the appearance of pores and hides imperfections while giving a light to medium coverage. Plus it has the high SPF bonus!

SPECIAL MENTIONS
  • INNISFREE MAKEUP. I've found some good makeup products like the Powder No Sebum Blur Pact, great at blurring my pores and uneven skin tone. Also the Skinny Waterproof Micromascara, the tiny slim brush is perfect for bottom lashes. Great smudge-proof formula.
  • MAMONDE is another korean brand who has some good products as well. The Rose toner is not bad, the Pore Clean Stick does a good job, the Micro Cleansing Oil Tissues are the best wipes I have ever tried in my life!
  • LANEIGE BB CUSHION FOUNDATION PORE CONTROL SPF50 is one of the best cushion foundations out there. It has a good coverage, hydrates and does a good work covering pores.

I haven't made a Kiko Haul in a very long time. In Singapore I didn't have easy access to the brand but now that I'm back in Italy I can finally visit the store and buy things from the brand again. A few years ago I did a blog post talking about the best and worst Kiko products so I though it was time for an update. So here is a haul and a revisit and update of the best KIKO products I have ever tried.

#1. Standout Volume Waterproof Mascara. Kiko has currently all the mascaras in offer (only 3.99!) I chose this one since I was looking for something waterproof and I have to say so far so good. It gives a good definition to the lashes making them longer and fuller.
#2. Pure & Clean Exfoliating Wipes. I used to use these so much in the past. They do a really good job exfoliating, they remove dead skin, and the skin feels soft and smooth afterwards.
#3. Intense Colour Long Lasting Eye Pencils. These are my favourite eye pencil range from the brand, they're high pigmented, creamy and last for long. Plus they have a great selection of shades. I bought the shade 03, a bronze colour, and the shade 10, a metallic green.
#4. Lasting Precision Automatic Eye Pencil. Another eye pencil from a different range, but still super pigmented and creamy. I bought the shade 04, Spicy Burgundy, which is a gorgeous reddish brown colour.
#5. Colour Kajal Khol. These are super affordable and designed especially for the waterline. This colour is the #3, Butter. I bought it for only 1 euro! I love Kiko sales!
#6. Hydra Pro Glow Moisturizing Cream. I'm really liking this at the moment. It's super lightweight on the skin but it feels hydrating enough. It also brightens the skin, it leaves a beautiful subtle glow on the skin. It contains hyaluronic acid and SPF10.
#7. Perfect Gel Duo. It's the second time I buy this nail duo because of the top coat from the set. It's the best topcoat I have ever tried! It gives the most glossy gel like finish to the nail. Highly recommended. I bought the duo with the nail polish shade #683, which I find to be a perfect dupe for the Chanel Rouge Noir, my favourite nail polish of all time!
#8. Water EyeshadowThese eyeshadows can be used wet or dry and they're super pigmented especially when used wet. I bought the shade 200 Champagne cause I wanted to use it as a cheek highlighter as well! The colour and shine of these is insane!

THE BEST I'VE TRIED

  • Full Coverage Concealer It's creamy, covers up really well and is long lasting.
  • Water Eyeshadow 200 Champagne. The colour and the shimmer of this is great. The colour is intense and looks amazing as a bright cheek highlighter.
  • Pro Nail Lacquers.  The consistency of these is amazing and one coat provides full coverage. The have a shiny, glossy effect and are super long lasting. Check out the  Perfect Gel Duo, the top coat is the best I've ever tried!
  • Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow. They must be the super best seller from the brand. Everyone seems to love these. Quick and easy to apply, they're extremely long lasting and water resistant.
  • Intense Colour Long Lasting Eye Pencils. Great variety of colours and nice formula too, super creamy and pigmented.
  • Creamy Colour Comfort Lip LinersThey are creamy, but not too soft, they glide on smoothly and last very well.
  •  Pure & Clean Exfoliating Wipes. 2 in 1 wipes, the textured side exfoliates the skin and the other provides comfort and freshness. Skin feels soft and smooth afterwards.
  •  Skin Trainer CC Blur. Evens out skin tone and has a blurring effect. It feels very light on the skin and its perfect to wear on days you don't want to put make up on. It's available in four shades.

WORTH TRYING

  • Mascaras. Especially if you find them on offer. I have tried very bad mascaras in the past but I would recommend trying the Standout Mascara and the Extra Sculpt Volume mascara which is actually their best seller.
  • Collections. I find that some of the best products from Kiko are often part of their limited collections. Especially products like blushes and highlighters. Check out the NEW GREEN COLLECTION, a range of products formulated with over 90% natural ingredients. The eye shadow palettes are so beautiful and pigmented as well.
  • Highlighters. I find the highlighters so good. Nice selection of colours and formulas.

#1. Armani Neo Nude Fusion Powder. This is so expensive it makes me cry, but I'm enjoying it so far. It blurs, skin looks airbrushed. It gives such a radiant finish and doesn't look cakey or cling on dry patches. It's a great powder option for who actually hates powders.

#2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette. Finally I bought this palette and I'm so glad I did cause its truly a gem! This is my first and only ABH palette and I'm impressed. The shadows are so pigmented and blend like a dream. If you love warm browns, earthy tones, this might be the best palette for you.

#3. Shiseido Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip in Cosmic. I love a multi-use product especially when its a beautiful rose gold highlighter like this one. The texture is soft, a bit balmy and super shimmery but subtle. I love using it to add a touch of something sparkly to an eye look.

#4. Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Sinamon. I saw a makeup artist creating an eye look only with this product and I knew I had to have it. The bronze colour is just perfect for an all-over-the-lid quick look. It's another multipurpose product that can be used also as a bronzer or highlighter/blush on deep skin tones.

#5. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Gloss in Fu$$y. Another Fenty product I bought as soon as I saw for the first time on Instagram. I love the original gloss bomb but I much prefer this pink version, suits better my pale face. The formula of this is just perfection. Best lip gloss ever!

#6. Dior Lip Maximizer in Rosewood. I've been loving this lip product for years. I love the plumping effect and that stays on for a long time. Dior released new shades of this product and I knew I had to get the shade Rosewood, a pinky nude colour.

#7. YSL Tatouage Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Nude Interdit. This have such interesting formula. It's so pigmented and matte but moisturising and not heavy at all. It feels like you're wearing nothing on your lips and I love that.

#8. Origins Retexturizing Mask With Rose Clay. I tried a sample of this and fell in love with the results. It really helped me with my texture issues. It had made my sensitive skin look much nicer in general.

#9. Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter. I love the body butter from this brand so I decided to try the lip balm as well. It smells delicious, the ingredients are great, its very moisturizing but I find the effect does not last very long sadly. I really wanted to love this.

#10. Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyesbadow Palette. My latest acquisition. The colours are good, they're pigmented. I quite like the packaging of this one. I love the fact they put the larger pans on each end. It's great for everyday looks and for beginners than want a good neutral palette. I own four UD Naked palettes at the moment, I love all of them but think the Naked Heat is my favourite.

#1. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Illuminating. I needed to repurchase this but in Italy is quite to difficult to find this. I can't live without it. This is my third bottle.

#2. Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 Pro Bush. It applies highlighter like a dream!

#3. Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade Jezebel. It is very pigmented but easy to apply and drys quickly without creasing. The colour Jezebel is such a gorgeous shimmery rose gold!

#4. Sunday Riley Multivitamins Set. This contains a mini of the
C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum and the Luna Luna Sleeping Night Oil.

#5. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Highlighter. A mini of the bronze highlighter which I use as bronzer/blush and eyeshadow.

#6. Farsali Unicorn Essence Antioxidant Primer Serum Mini. I tried this as a primer but honestly this doesn't do much for my skin. I don't understand the hype about this.

sephora haul glossier, best of glossier, ny

#1. Glossier Boy Brow makes your brows look so full and so natural! It makes your eyebrows look like eyebrows but better. I really enjoy using this!

#2. Balm Dotcom in Rose is good lip balm. It's thick and moisturizing and don't leave a sticky feeling.

#3. Stretch concealer. This is only thing that has disappointed me. It has an interesting texture, it's hydrating and look natural and dewy when first applied. But it creases immediately and never dries down and has very little coverage.

#4 Sheer Matte Lipstick in Like. This I like quite a lot. It's very comfortable on the lips and the colour is a very subtle berry tint. Perfect for natural daily makeup.

Wow that was a big haul, so many products to talk about. In general I like everything I got. Have you tried any of these?

Project Pan 2019: Products I NEED to use up

project pan, armani, urban decay, becca, laura mercier, guerlain

I quite like the project panning idea which seems popular nowadays. I live in a small house I need to have a control of what I own and my makeup spending. So that's why I have decided to finish all these products in the upcoming months no matter what!
Have you ever tried a "project pan"?

1. FOCUS ON CREAMY PRODUCTS
We all know creamy makeup products as concealers expire much sooner that powders so I need to focus especially on those creamy items that have been opened for a while. I'm pretty done with my Becca Under Eye Corrector which has been my favourite product for covering my really dark circles. It goes on so creamy,  effortlessly covers dark circles, lifts and brightens the eye area. Definitely recommend this if you have extremely dark circles. Another concealer is almost finished is the Mac Longwear concealer. I bought this for my wedding almost two years ago and loved it since then! High coverage and super long lasting.

2. PRIMERS
Because we don't need ten makeup primers opened at the same time. I really want to finish the Guerlain L'Or because it was too expensive to just waste it . But also because I enjoy using it,  it's a good overall primer, moisturising and soothing.
The eye primer I, occasionally use because I always forget to apply, is the Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is one of the tinted primers, the shade is called 'Minor Sin'. It's a shimmery champagne shade that has a beautiful shimmer that enhances any eyehadow colour and that you can even wear it alone, it works perfectly like a lazy day eyeshadow.
Benefit Pore professional may be one of my favourite primers. It's full of silicons but the truth is that works perfectly hiding those annoying big pores.

3. FOUNDATIONS
I love buying and trying foundations, I can't help it. I own too many liquid foundations and and the majority of them are just resting in a drawer. I need to finish some so I'll focus on those that are almost finished and I have a backup already. Armani Luminous Silk was my wedding day/important dates foundation and I love it so much. I'm planning on buying a new one! Another of my favourites is the Tinted Moisturiser Illuminating by Laura Mercier, my foundation of choice for summer.

4. LIP PRODUCTS
For the same reason I need to finish foundations, I HAVE to finish some lip products. They are my weakness, I cannot tell you how many lip balms I have open at the moment.
Some lippies I'm close to finish are, the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. it's hydrating and keep my lips moisturised and soft for hours. I own several shades but the Rose is the one I use the most, a sheer rosy tint. Also, the Dior Lip Maximizer, this thing is totally addictive, love the plumping effect this gives to the lips.

5. SETTING SPRAYS & OTHERS
I've been using and loving these two makeup mists lots last year. The Urban Decay All nighter which I spray usually only on the center of my face, t-zone to set really well that area. The Too Faced Hangover mist is more hydrating so I spray it on the sides of my face, cheeks and neck where my skin is more on the dry side.

My favourite bronzer, Becca Sunlit Bronzer in the shade Bali Sands, is the perfect shade for fair skin and so natural looking too. It's not completely matte but it gives a lovely warmth and glow to the skin without looking too glittery, leaves a super healthy looking light glow. I bought already another one but in a different shade.

My most expensive makeup, Worth the money?

Kevin Aucoin Sculping Powder
This is absolutely perfect. It is highly pigmented and has a great cool tone that makes it look more natural than other contour powders. I only own one contour product at the moment and this is it so it has been a good purchase indeed.

Kevin Aucoin Eye Lash Curler

These eyelash curlers curl the lashes gently and opens up the eyes so you instantly look more awake and more beautiful. One of the best beauty purchases I have ever done.

Tom Ford Lipsticks
They are a kind of cult product, the shade selection is amazing and the packaging is beyond luxurious. But they are also extremely pricey. My favourite is the shade Pink Duskit's the most perfect natural-neutral pink shade, probably my favourite lipstick of ALL TIME. I also have the Lip Color Shine in the shade 'Nubile', although it's a beautiful colour I barely use it! I would say that before investing on a TF lipstick make sure you really love the shade and the formula of these!

Guerlain L'Or Radiance Concentrate with pure gold
It's my most expensive primer, I mean, it contains gold flecks! It's actually quite nice, the consistency is gel-like, it absorbs quickly and  has a cooling effect on the skin. It's a good overall moisturising primer but definitely I wouldn't repurchase it as you can find better primers for less money on the market these days.

YSL Healthy Glow Balm-Powder Bronzer
The texture balm-powder of this is amazing, blends beautifully and seamlessly then dries to a natural matte finish but still gives a subtle radiant glow to the face. I love it but I don't know if I would repurchase this because I love my Becca bronzer more! (you can see in this post)

Dior Pump 'N' Volume mascara
It's nothing special...it does almost nothing to my lashes. There are much better mascaras for less out there. It was a bit of waste of money to be honest.

Nars Multiples
These are quite pricey and they don't have the best reviews in the beauty community. But to be honest I quite like them. I love a good versatile makeup product and this is it. I have the Riviera Multiple which gives a beautiful flush of pink to my cheeks but I can use it on my eyes as well. It's an staple in my summer makeup bag.

Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow
This is incredible pricey (60 euro for a foundation, crazy!) and the most expensive foundation in my collection right now. But I got to be honest I don't regret the purchase, this is quite unique. It's extremely lightweight but covers well and also makes my skin glow like no other. So sad this has been discontinued!

expensive makeup worth, hourglass, huda beauty, armani, tom ford

Hourglass products are definitely high end but also high quality. The Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation is the best high coverage but still natural foundation in my collection. So creamy and blendable and just looks like skin. The Ambient Lightning Powder is the best for a natural and glowing effect, the best powder for who doesn't like powder so much. I have the shade Dim light which helps to blur imperfections.
The palettes are also a good investment and a great way to try many things from the brand. These powders are so good, extremely finely milled and leave a natural, radiant finish to the skin.
The Ambient Lightning blushes on the other hand I wanted to love but they disappointed me sadly. I have the shade Luminous flash, a beautiful rosy colour but it looked strange on the face, the colour didn't show up on my skin and the finish wasn't so radiant as I thought it would be. Not worth the splurge in my opinion.

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette is the most expensive eyeshadow palette I've ever bought and truly a beauty. I actually thing the quality of shadows is so good however I don't use this often and I don't see myself wearing this unless there's a special occasion. I kinda regret buying this unfortunately.
